Resources for Wounded Heroes and their Families

Below is a list of organizations and resources Michelle and her family and others like hers have found helpful in the rehabilitation and recovery process.

Wounded Warrior Projectwww.woundedwarriorproject.org

This is a project that provides services to wounded heroes and their families. Its mission is to honor and empower wounded service men and women. They help wounded heroes assist each other, enlist public support for severely wounded service members, and provide direct programs that meet the needs of severely wounded individuals and their famiilies.  They do this by providing caring and comprehensive support.

Michelle is donating a portion of proceeds from Uprooted: Searching for Serenity to the Wounded Warriors Care Center in San Antonio, TX in honor of the tremendous outreach and support her family received from this wonderful organization.
